FILLMED Bright Peel is an advanced exfoliating treatment that has multiple benefits to reduce both hyperpigmentation and acne scarring.

This quadruple AHA/ PBA brightening peel combines Gluconalactone, Glycolic Acid, Phytic Acid and Citric Acid. Designed to target pigmentation and to lighten and brighten the skin by taking the skin's pH to 1.5 for superficial peeling. With no visible peeling, a glowing, radiant complexion can be enjoyed without the downtime and is safe to use all year round. Fillmed Bright Peel gives instant uniformity to the skin and works on long-term improvement of pigmentation.
Gluconolactone, which does not strip the skin of moisture, has the capacity to neutralise free radicals, which can attack healthy skin cells through sun exposure and pollution. Phytic Acid is derived from rice, legumes and grains and is good for melasma, pigmentation, scarring, and open pores, and is a natural antioxidant. Citric Acid is derived from citrus fruits and works by exfoliating the upper layer of dead skin. It has protective, antioxidant and corrective effects on the skin, and helps to reverse visible signs of sun damage and ageing.
Glycolic Acid is probably one of the best-known of the AHA family of acids. It’s derived from sugar cane, and it has the smallest molecule in the AHA group, so penetrates the skin easily. Glycolic Acid can improve the look of pigmentation marks, dehydrated skin and wrinkles. Skin elasticity is also improved through the use of Glycolic Acid.

Frequently Asked Questions about Fillmed Bright Peel
How many treatments are required?
Four treatments are recommended two weeks apart each.
Who cannot benefit from this product?
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding you are unable to have this treatment.
We are unable to treat skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis and any inflammatory skin complaints.
If you have had recent laser work you will not be able to have this Peel for 3 months.
What side effects could occur with this product?
Possible side effects following treatment could include skin flaking, itchiness, redness and oedema.
Is there anything I should avoid doing after my Peel?
Sun exposure should be avoided for the first three days following treatment and use sunscreen thereafter (SPF 50) whilst the skin is still in its regeneration stage.
Avoid high temperatures (sauna, steam, hot baths & showers for 48 hours) and intense exercise.
Avoid any aggressive products or exfoliants including AHA/BHA and retinols for 5 days post-procedure.
