Before your treatment

Before your treatment, you should avoid blood thinners like aspirin and other anti- inflammatories like Ibuprofen or Aleve, fish oil, multivitamins or vitamin E for at least a day beforehand, as they can increase the appearance of bruising from the injection. We also advise that you avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your appointment.

During your treatment

During your treatment, we will apply topical numbing cream if required. The areas to be treated are carefully marked out and then injected with Seventy Hyal using a tiny needle. The entire treatment process usually takes under 30 minutes and has no required recovery time, so you can get back to your day straight after treatment.

After your treatment

After treatment, you may experience mild swelling or bruising, although this usually goes down within a few days. You should avoid touching the area & avoid intense exercise for 24 hours after treatment to make sure you don't disturb the product . With this treatment, the downtime is minimal. As with any injectable treatments, a small amount of bruising may appear. However, this should subside within a few days with no long-term effects. Small, localised bumps may appear at the injection points. These will start to diffuse within 4-6 hours.
